Carmen Garaghon has been selected to spend the next month on an artist’s residency at Farm Studios in Andore, India.
Farm Studio was officially established as a non-profit organisation in 2009. Farm Studio’s aim is to promote and celebrate the community’s artistic and cultural identity and support community-based open platforms where creativity can unfold free from distractions. A unique atmosphere in a rural environment, develops interrelationships among artists from different geographical locations with varied social, religious and cultural perspectives. This fosters collaboration, encourages experimentation, exchanges and dialogue among artists and art and culture lovers. The programme brings the art and culture of other communities to the community in order to broaden their experiences and appreciation of art.
