Visiting Speaker BRAD DOWNEY
Thursday 13th October 2016, 4pm – 5pm
UWE City Campus, Bower Ashton, Room 2B1
Brad Downey is a Berlin-based artist working in film, sculpture, painting and drawing, amongst other media, to create works that form a temporary disruption. Much of Downey’s work takes place in the public space through urban interventions which are both thought provoking and humorous.
His visit is supported by a grant from UWE’s Student Experience fund, awarded to MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking student Lara Luna Bartley who has organised this talk.
Free and open to all. UWE City Campus, Bower Ashton, Room 2B1 (second floor of tower block) 4pm – 5pm. http://www.braddowney.com
